The New Flamingo Swing Orchestra kicks off a fundraiser at Santa Cruz's One and Future Home of the Big Bands, the Cocoanut Grove Ballroom. Olaf Schiappicasse on drums, a brief alto solo by Richard Fenno, who remembered too late that he'd left his clarinet in the trunk of his car.
