One of my great passions is introducing my students to the joys of music and watching them grow not only as musicians but also as individuals.

In addition to writing original compositions, I enjoy the challenge of arranging for both instruction and performance.
PERFORMANCE
I’ve been privileged to perform with some of the best musical talents on the central coast and beyond.
Instruction
As a resident performer & teacher in Santa Cruz, I travel to several locations serving the South Bay Area. Not only do I maintain a local teaching studio, I also teach at the Harker School in San Jose, the Los Gatos School of Music, and the Tavan Music Academy - also in Los Gatos.

As a composer, I strive to enhance other people’s lives and offer them an alternative perspective. In college, I chose to double my load and major in two areas — Clarinet Performance & Composition. I spent an immense amount of time as a Composition Major composing 7 movements dedicated to my Spiritual Teacher, Adi Da Samraj. Below is just a taste of those movements. My hope and dream is to make a professional recording & video with Adi Da’s Sacred Art as a backdrop.

In Fall 2011, I won the class arranging competition. Subsequently, my arrangement was performed by the Sacramento State University Orchestra.

Performance
Over the years, I have been involved in many performance opportunities. Most recently, I’ve played in the New Flamingo Swing Orchestra, the White Album Ensemble, the Battle of the Big Bands, Catafornia, Guys & Dolls, and SUDS: The Rocking 60’s Musical Soap Opera — both at the Colligan Theater at the Tannery in Santa Cruz, CA.
